PPRC’s research work addresses critical education, community health and broader social issues. Our team provides multiple services from research designs and reviews of current literature, to analysis, to interpretation and presentation of data and findings. Our staff can assist clients across research processes and projects, including: formulating research questions; sampling; measurement (surveys, scaling, qualitative); research design (experimental and quasi-experimental); data analysis, and writing research briefs and reports. PPRC also addresses the major theoretical and philosophical underpinnings of research, including: the idea of validity in research; reliability of measures; and ethics.
Examples of recent research services and products include the interpretation of data for culture-based teacher professional development programs; legislative advocacy materials, and research products on student achievement indicators, comprehensive learning systems, wraparound community services, 21st century skills in education, intergenerational learning and bilingual education systems.
